Valentino Rossi wins the 2002 MotoGP Series on Honda
Description
In this motorcycle sport print Colin Carter depicts Valentino Rossi, who won the 2002 MotoGP series on a Honda RC211V, with four rounds to spare. At that time this twenty three year old Italian superstar was already a multiple World Champion, having won the 2001 500cc Championship and having previously won the 250cc and 125cc Championships. The 2003 Championship was another great series, with Colin Edwards and Troy Bayliss coming into the MotoGP Championship from World Superbikes to challenge the all-conquering "Doctor" (Rossi).
