Description
This aviation art print by Friedl Wuelfing shows F-4F Phantoms of Jagdgeschwader 74 'Moelders' with a portrait of Werner Moelders in the background. The fighter-bomber airplanes were gradually brought into service 1974/75 at this unit and later were modernized several times. In 2005/6, after having been in service for more than 30 years, they were replaced by the Eurofighter 'Typhoon'.
