Joerg with Text for Website without dates

Joerg was born in 1957 in Lieme at his grandparent's farm and grew up first in Billinghausen and then in Lemgo where he went to school. During his early years he developed a love for flying and joined the local Lemgo Model Flying Club.  He build gliders in the basement of the house he lived and his brother and sister and parents joined him often to fly his planes along with other enthusiasts. Sometimes someone forgot to turn the radio on, which created a hunt for the missing plane. There was competition flying for the longest air time for the gliders and even his brother and sister joined in . One time his sister even won a prize.. a big heavy Dictionary...

After years of being part of the flying club and then graduating school he joined the Military, dreaming to become a pilot flying an F1 Fighter Jet.  That dream never materialized but he ended up being a navigator for Trans All Airplanes, and spent some time at Mather Air Fore Base in California for training and then also spent some time in Krete, Greece.  After 8 years of military service he decided to sign up for 8 more years and instead went to the University in Hannover for a short while and then decided to start his own business in Wunstorf.

With the love for everything flying and military background he decided to sell limited edition aviation art prints.  And this is what he continued to do for over 40 years.

He was a member of the Blomberg Flying Club for over 40 years.  After relocating to Blomberg to be closer to the club he moved later back to Lemgo to be closer to family.

Unfortunately that was not a long time for him to enjoy when his desease progressed rapidly and his body just could no longer endure the pain and started to shut down.  Joerg is badly missed but his love always lives on with us every day.  We are proud of how Joerg lived his life and he will always remain in our hearts.   ...
