The motorsport art print 'First Corner - Monaco Grand Prix 1959' by Nicholas Watts shows Jean Behra in the Ferrari Dino 246F1 passing the first corner after the start in front of Stirling Moss in the Cooper T51, who started from pole position, followed by Jack Brabham in the second Cooper T51. The race was marked by many retirements, including Behra on lap 22 and Moss on lap 82. The winner was Jack Brabham from Australia, who won the first Grand Prix for himself and the Cooper factory team. The race was held over 100 laps on the three kilometre circuit for a race distance of 315 kilometres. Only 6 of the started 16 cars reached the finish line.
